Take a break

Take a break properly! According to the Pomodoro technique, you should study (work) for 25 minutes and then take a 5-minute break. During these 5 minutes, you should get up, walk, talk to other people or do something else that distracts you. After that, you should study for another 25 minutes and take another 5-minute break. You can do this up to 4 times in a row. After that, you should take a 30-minute break.

This technique will help you learn to concentrate. You will remain highly focused throughout the study session.

Of course, you have to get used to this technique. It is not always easy to stop in the middle of a topic. After the break, you need a few minutes to get back on track. And yet, with this technique, you learn more, faster and better than with "normal" learning. Here, too, the motto is: try it out!

With this technique, you will gradually learn to organize your time because you need to know in advance what you will learn during this time.

Another way to organize your time is mind mapping. Learn how to manage your time with Mind Maps here! (in German)
